A recommendation from PMP Management, concerning plumbing maintenance. See

I have just come across https://mathacademy.com/ and after looking at the summary of the courses and other comments on the program would like to recommend it to anyone who would like to learn a bit about mathematics. If someone should try the courses and would like a little help, I’d be willing to try. This was mainly developed for young people, and many 8th grade students at taking advanced AP Calculus!
We have a trust but the lawyer who prepared it has become so unreliable that we want to use the services of another lawyer. It is a difficult decision and we hope that someone could give me a good recommendation for a trust lawyer.
If you do have a trust and you appreciate the services of the lawyer who prepared it… and you are willing to recommend her/him, we would appreciate it.
Glad to see that this site works well on my Droid , everything I want to do is functional. Thanks for keeping it up to date with the latest.
At the owners meeting last week I mentioned a device to clean your windows, this is the device you can search for on Amazon etc.
Tyroler Bright Tools the Glider S-1 Magnetic Window Cleaner
Please remember you still have to be able to spray your outside windows with a soapy solution. You can’t get to all of your windows but it certainly helps with a situation between regular cleanings. See it in action here

Have we ever considered putting a basketball hoop on one of the tennis courts?
I know of an effort in this direction. I personally would like to know if I’m still capable of decently shooting a basketball, but any thought of jumping is in the somewhat distant past.
I’ve also pondered this. I would absolutely love to have a basketball court here!
Hi Neighbors,
Does anyone have an old used men’s bicycle with gears that they would like to sell?
(Perhaps a bike collecting dust in the parking garage bike area?)
Please text description & cost to 310-433-6159.
Thanks!
Contact Jack Fishman. The board is removing abandoned bicycles which I believe will be donated to some organization. Perhaps you can get one.
I recently purchased a condo here at MCC and need to install drapes. The office does not know the dimensions of the windows. Does anyone know who does installation of drapes or do I need to have custom drapes? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
We worked with Earl from Budget Blinds, 818-353-2467. They were an approved vendor at least on 10/18/2018, and we were very happy with them.

I had them install a custom made motorized, one piece blind across my master bedroom windows. I believe it’s about 12’ wide. They had to bring it up the stairs.
On installing a water heater:
The MCC Association recommends that everyone do this for earthquake safety, etc. My install, is scheduled for next Monday 9/21. My steps:
a. Order on the phone from The Water Heater Warehouse in Fullerton, https://www.waterheatersfullertonca.com/. (Best price around, recommended by Engineering Dept.)
b. Get order and installation date/time confirmation
c. Let Kyle Wilson, Resident Svcs Mgr, know you are doing this. He needs to have Engineering turn off water supply to your unit during the process. (I’m pretty sure there is a fee for turning off the water.)
(10-01-2020) Completed: A 50-gal. water heater was installed in my exterior water heater/AC closet last Thursday. Manny and Arturo from Water Heater Warehouse in Fullerton did the install, and they lived up to the recommendation by our Engineering Dept. (They actually installed two WH’s, because my friend and neighbor a few doors away from me also replaced hers.)
If interested, you will need to have Engineering check out your shut-off valve to your heater to make sure it is fully functioning. If it is not, you can have a new one installed when the new water heater is installed. I did not need a new valve, but my neighbor did, so her experience would be also valuable to hear. I’ll ask her to weigh in via this site.
If you do need a valve replaced, the Engineering will arrange to turn off the water supply to your unit for the duration of the install process. Engineering Mgr. Mark Ballus will turn off the water after posting 3 days notice to your “up and down” neighbors. (You’ve all seen the postings in the elevator when plumbing issues arise around here.). Mark will tell you what date you can have the work done.
Let Resident Svcs Dir. Avital know the date of your install and she will authorize Property Svcs to admit your contractor to the property. Water Heater Whse is in MCC’s data base already, but if you use someone else make sure MCC has their business data, such as contractor’s license # and proof of insurance.
Phone numbers you’ll need:
Engineering (Mark): 310-578-4952
Resident Services Dir. (Avital): 310-578-4984
Water Heater Warehouse (if you so choose): 714-244-8562
