We hope to work with PMP and the COA board in an effort to help insure that any
bottlenecks in dealing with your issues get fixed, and to take some load off our board. If you are unsure how to proceed, check out FAQ’s for
Help.
If you still are are unsure place a comment at the bottom and we will do what we can to help. If this is still too confusing, email Fred or call Fred at 818-352-3244. Other useful numbers are at Useful Phone Numbers.
If you don’t have time to serve on the board, consider volunteering for the Advisor Council or for one of the committees. Team players are desired, for example:
1. An ability to really listen before speaking.
2. A desire to be a well informed as possible.
3. A willingness to bring up things that might be overlooked.
4 A willingness to make a serious effort to reach compromise.
5. A willingness to take on jobs that require some real effort.
6. A commitment to follow through on jobs one has agreed to do.
7. As a team, be as transparent as possible, when the team is part of a larger whole.
8. Any “agenda” should be for the best interest of the MCC, and not your only interest.
Could we publish on Condo Control the name and contact info email of the president of each committee? This way we can communicate ideas or concerns to them.
Subject: Waste management – Could the board investigate the possibility of having our service combined with the one of the Ritz Carlton – The shuttle would take the waste bins of the COA ( About the same distance as of now ) to the location of the Ritz Carlton bins which are located next to the East tower and Waste management would pick up both at the same time from the same location between the East Tower and the garage of the Riz Carlton –
Obvious benefits: For waste management instead of having two pick up and two two trucks as they have now, they would only have one thus saving time and expense and labor cost.
For the COA: We could negotiate a better rate since we are saving Waste management money -We would have less noise pollution as the big trucks would no longer be here.
why not try talking to the Ritz Carlton about it and we would pay proportionally to the number of bins.
The minutes of all the meetings of all the committees should be submitted to the board monthly, be part of the board minutes and posted on condo Control app
Has anyone transferred their unit into a trust after buying their condo?
Do you know of anyone who has?
Were you charged a transfer fee of over 20,000 dollars or more simply to move your title to a trust?
Please let me know – I have a lawyer working on this.
Overlooking between the center towers north and south on the west side, Plaza level, one can see a bunch of seats and tables willy-nilly in mixed conditions. They have been there for over a year. They do not look good for visitors. If we need to keep them, and one wonder why, couldn’t we put them in storage somewhere else, or if we don’t need them either sell them, or give them away. But is is an eyesore, and wouldn’t nice flowers look better?
I’m not clear on how a visitor, , or even I, might see these. A picture would help.
When you walk from the elevator to the units for example on the south center towers at least floor 4 th and above they are in plain sight. Picture
I went to the bike cage to put my bike there during the cleaning of the garage, and it is a mess and overflowing. The security guard told me that he thought the people with some of the bikes were gone and left the bikes there.
Another question is, do we need a cage? Could we not just have bike racks and we could attach our bikes to the racks without a cage? I have my bike in the garage because it is complicated to call security, have them open the cage so I can get my bike, and then when I come back I have to call them again so I can put my bike back, If security is good, we should not need that cage, and I could park my bike in a rack.
