Though most of my career was spent in print advertising-over 30 years working with major publishers in public image and brand building, as well as ad spend management- my grassroots experience in the field has provided me with the tools and skills necessary to devise strategies that are efficient-I taught special education with the public school system in Baltimore teaching troubled adolescents in the inner city, was an advocate for equal rights and equal pay for women in the workplace, and even wrote a weekly medical column for the Maryland State Secretary of Health.
As one of a group of committed, experienced individuals running as a slate for the MCC Board on March 17, I am determined to work and address the ongoing issues that we are facing at MCC, while maintaining the lifestyle that we all know and love. For the past few years, I have worked behind the scenes and on various committees at MCC. I feel it is necessary to run for the Board in order to work with a team to move MCC in a positive new direction-creating transparency, and restoring our lifestyle. Click for the slate’s platform    Click here to view Andrea’s Professional Resume
